Vacation House Pi La Via Selinunte, is located in Partanna, one of the picturesque towns of the Belice Valley. This predominantly hilly region extends into western Sicily and is embraced by the catchment area of the Belìce River. The airports of Trapani and Palermo are easily reached in less than 45 minutes.

History
As in all of Sicily, the Belice Valley and the territory of Partanna have a rich and fascinating history, marked by a series of colonizations over the centuries. The lands of the Belice Valley have been inhabited by various peoples, including the Sicans, the Phoenicians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Normans, the Arabs, and the Spanish. These peoples have left an indelible imprint on the history and culture of this portion of the territory.
Each civilization that has settled in these areas has contributed to the formation of a unique culture and the creation of traditions, influencing local architecture, gastronomy, art, and traditions. All the dominations have left visible traces in the landscape, historical monuments, and folk traditions, creating a fascinating mix of cultural influences.

But Western Sicily is not only culture, it is the ideal place to relax among beautiful beaches and nature.
A few kilometers to the west is the Scala dei Turchi, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, while proceeding north is San Vito lo Capo and the warm Tyrrhenian Sea or even the Zingaro Nature Reserve, to enjoy relaxing moments in the sun and take a dip in crystal-clear waters.
And if the blue of the sea were not enough the green is not lacking, to the northwest the Oriented Nature Reserve of Bosco di Ficuzza, Rocca Busambra and the Lake of Piana degli Albanesi.
Local entities organize numerous traditional festivals, fairs and cultural events to promote the products of the land and tradition, to revive Sicilian folklore and culture through: dances (Contradanza, Tarantelle) songs and stornelli, performances related to the art Dei Pupi Siciliani and dramatizations in dialect.
